Hard chrome plating deposits are intended primarily to restore dimensions
of undersized parts and to improve resistance to wear, abrasion, heat
or corrosion, seizing and galling. Hard chrome can be applied to carbon
alloy steel, iron castings, copper alloys, and all types of stainless
steel and aluminum alloys.
Benefits:
- Build up lost metal or restore expensive machined parts
- Can be ground, honed and polished, lapped or finished
- Extreme hardness
- Low coefficient or friction
- Corrosion resistant
- Abrasion resistant
- Wear resistant
