Brush Plating is selective plating whereby metal is applied to specific
areas without immersing the component in the tank. The original coating
of the part in need of re-surfacing does not necessarily need to be machined
and less parent metal is left untouched.
Metal - standard metal solutions as well as numerous alloys - is deposited from a water-based solution
onto the surface to be plated, direct current from a portable power
pack is applied, and an electrochemical bond is created. Precise masking,
measured and controlled specifications, and top quality standards are
guaranteed by Cariboo Chrome.
Benefits:
- Quick Turnaround Time
- Less Expensive than Immersion
- Less Downtime
- Top Quality Coating with guaranteed consistency
- Less Removal of Parent Material
- For all Standard Equipment
- To Customer's Specifications
